### 100 Hindering a person in execution of duty > > (1) A person must not hinder or obstruct the Secretary, a police officer or any other person in the performance or exercise of a function or power under this Act. > > > > Penalty: Fine not exceeding 50 penalty units or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years, or both. > > > (2) A police officer may arrest without warrant a person who he or she has reasonable grounds for believing is hindering or obstructing the Secretary, a police officer or another person in the performance or exercise of a function or power under this Act.
