202 Individual service exemptions (1) This section applies in respect of the holder of an old licence for a children's service that was not required to comply with a requirement of the old Act under a relevant declaration immediately before the commencement day. (2) The children's service is taken to comply with an equivalent requirement of this Act— (a) for the period of 6 months from the commencement day; or (b) if the holder of the old licence applies to the Regulatory Authority under this Act for a temporary waiver or service waiver under this Act in respect of that requirement and the application is received by the Regulatory Authority on or before the expiry of the 6-month period, to the date on which the application is finally determined under this Act. ***relevant declaration***, in relation to a children's service, means— (a) a declaration made under section 29A of the old Act specifically in respect of the children's service; or (b) a declaration made under section 6(1) of the old Act specifically in respect of the children's service.
