142 Entry to premises with search warrant (1) An authorised officer under the authority of a search warrant may enter premises if the authorised officer reasonably believes that a person is operating a children's service in contravention of section 99 at or from the premises. (2) An authorised officer under the authority of a search warrant may enter any children's service premises or any premises where the authorised officer reasonably believes that an approved children's service is operating if the authorised officer reasonably believes that the children's service is operating in contravention of this Act. (3) An authorised officer under the authority of a search warrant may enter the principal office of the approved provider of the service or any other business office of the approved provider of the service if the authorised officer reasonably believes that documents or other evidence relevant to the possible commission of an offence against this Act are present at those premises. (4) Schedule 1 applies in relation to the issue of the search warrant and the powers of the authorised officer on entry. S. 143 inserted by No. 37/2019 s. 8.
