#### 108 Proceedings unaffected by pending criminal proceedings 108 Proceedings unaffected by pending criminal proceedings > The jurisdiction of the Children’s Court to hear and determine any proceedings with respect to a child or young person is not affected merely because criminal proceedings are pending against— > > > (a) the child or young person, or > > > (b) any other party to the proceedings, or > > > (c) any other person, > > whether or not the criminal proceedings have arisen out of the same or similar facts as those out of which the proceedings under this Act have arisen.
