81 Family group conferences—criteria for review conference (1) This section applies if a family group conference agreement is in force for a child or young person. (2) The director-general must arrange for a family group conference to review the family group conference agreement if the director-general is— (a) required to do so in the agreement; or (b) asked to do so by— (i) the child or young person; or (ii) a participant in the family group conference at which the family group conference agreement was reached. (3) However, the director-general is not required to arrange a family group conference under subsection (2) (b) if the director-general— (a) has already arranged a conference to review the agreement because of a request under subsection (2) (b); or (b) considers it is not in the best interests of the child or young person to do so.
