337 Age—proof of age to be sought before action taken If the Childrens Court, the director-general or a police officer intends to deal with a person under the care and protection chapters as a child or young person, the Childrens Court, director-general or police officer must make reasonable inquiries to find out the age of the person before dealing with the person as a child or young person.
