106 Custody etc during proceedings Subject to any order or direction of a court, an escort officer who is required to bring a young detainee to a court must, as far as practicable, ensure— (a) the safe custody of the young detainee for the purposes of the proceeding; and (b) that the young detainee does not obstruct or hinder the proceeding.
