60 Seized documents and things

(a) before the commencement day, an authorised officer has seized any document or thing under section 29N; and

(b) immediately before the commencement day, the authorised officer has not returned, or taken reasonable steps to return, the seized document or thing to the owner.

(2) On and from the commencement day—

(a) section 29N as in force immediately before the commencement day applies to the seized document or thing as if a reference to an authorised officer were a reference to an authorised officer within the meaning of the Social Services Regulation Act 2021; and

(b) the seized document or thing may be forfeited, destroyed or otherwise disposed of in accordance with section 131 of the Social Services Regulation Act 2021.
