#### 72G Notification requirements for departure prohibition orders (1) This section applies if the Registrar makes a departure prohibition order in respect of a person. (2) The Registrar must notify the person that the order has been made. (3) The notice must be in the approved form and must be given as soon as practicable after making the order. > Note: For approved form see section 72X. (4) The Registrar must give to the Secretary of the Immigration Department a copy of the order, and information likely to facilitate identification of the person, for the purposes of administering the Migration Act 1958, unless the Registrar is satisfied that the person is an Australian citizen. (5) The Registrar must also give a copy of the order, and information likely to facilitate identification of the person for the purposes of this Part, to such other persons as the Registrar considers appropriate in the circumstances, being persons prescribed by the regulations for the purposes of this subsection. (6) The Registrar must give a copy of the order or information under subsection (4) or (5) as soon as practicable after making the order.
