sec.128 Insertion of new s 343A

After section 343 — insert— This section applies if— either— a negative notice is issued to a person; or a person’s negative notice is cancelled; and the chief executive is aware the person is the subject of a finding of reportable conduct under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 , chapter 3. The chief executive must give the commission under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 a written notice stating that the negative notice has been issued to, or cancelled for, the person. (sec.128-frag-sec.343A-ssec.1) This section applies if— either— a negative notice is issued to a person; or a person’s negative notice is cancelled; and the chief executive is aware the person is the subject of a finding of reportable conduct under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 , chapter 3. (sec.128-frag-sec.343A-ssec.2) The chief executive must give the commission under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 a written notice stating that the negative notice has been issued to, or cancelled for, the person.
