In deciding whether to table the report in the Legislative Assembly, the Minister must have regard to whether it includes— confidential information about a person; or information that may prejudice the investigation or prosecution of an offence; or anything else relevant to whether tabling the report would be in the public interest. If the commission recommends that the report be tabled, and the Minister is satisfied that tabling the report is in the public interest, the Minister must table the report in the Legislative Assembly as soon as practicable after receiving the report. The commission must not publish a report prepared under this section unless the Minister has tabled the report.
