14 When reporting obligations begin
> For the purposes of this Act, a registrable person’s reporting obligations in respect of a registrable offence begin—
>
> > (a) when the person is sentenced for the offence, or
>
> > (b) when the person ceases to be in government custody in relation to the offence,
