5 Other matters (1) For this Act, offences arise from the same incident only if they are committed within a single period of 24 hours and are committed against the same person. (2) A reference in this Act to doing a thing in person is a reference to doing the thing by personal attendance at a place and it is not sufficient to attend the place by telephone or electronic means.
