26Training course—self‑directed study

#### 26 Training course—self‑directed study (1) This section applies if, during a CCS fortnight: (a) an individual engages in a recognised participation type consisting of a training course for the purposes of paragraph 12(2)(b) of Schedule 2 to the Family Assistance Act; and (b) the individual engages in additional self‑directed study in relation to the course, outside the scheduled hours of the course. > Note: The individual may also be taken to engage in the recognised participation type mentioned in paragraph (a) during a break in the course: see section 27. (2) For the purposes of paragraph 12(3)(a) of that Schedule, the individual is taken also to engage in recognised participation type of the same kind for the purposes of paragraph 12(2)(b) of that Schedule while being engaged in that additional self‑directed study.
