19Unpaid work experience

#### 19 Unpaid work experience (1) For the purposes of paragraph 12(2)(d) of Schedule 2 to the Family Assistance Act, an individual engages in a recognised participation type during a CCS fortnight if he or she engages in either of the following participation types during the fortnight: (a) unpaid work experience; (b) an unpaid internship. (2) However, the individual does not engage in a recognised participation type under subsection (1) of this section if the participation type is engaged in during the course of a participation type mentioned in paragraph 12(2)(b) or (c) of that Schedule. > Note: Paragraph 12(2)(b) of that Schedule covers training courses for improving work skills or employment prospects. Paragraph 12(2)(c) of that Schedule covers an approved course of education or study.
