Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What it does This regulation cancels (repeals) four outdated sets of childcare regulations made under the Child Care Act 1972:

Statutory Rules 1973 Nos. 45 and 168
Statutory Rules 1974 No. 237
Statutory Rules 1982 No. 303

Who it affects Childcare providers and families who were operating under these specific old rules—typically concerning fee assistance eligibility and centre operating requirements.

Why it matters This is statute book housekeeping. It removes superseded 1970s–80s era regulations to prevent confusion, presumably because newer legislation or regulations had replaced them by 1986.
