12R Offence—untrue representations
A person commits an offence if: (a) the person solicits the disclosure of protected information from an officer; and (b) for that purpose makes representations which the person knows are untrue. The offence is committed whether or not any protected information is actually disclosed.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 2 years.
