#### 12K Offence—unauthorised access to protected information A person commits an offence if: (a) the person obtains information; and (b) the information is protected information; and (c) the person: (i) is not authorised or required by or under this Act or a family assistance law; and (ii) has no other lawful authority; to obtain the information; and (d) the person knows, or is reckless as to whether, the information is protected information.
