#### 86 Gambling in casino by certain persons prohibited 86 Gambling in casino by certain persons prohibited > > (1) A key official must not gamble in a casino except to the extent that it may be necessary to do so in the exercise of his or her functions in the course of the administration of this Act. > > > (2) If a person is a special employee in a casino (as defined in Part 4), the person must not— > > > > > (a) gamble in the casino, or > > > > > (b) solicit or accept any gratuity, consideration or other benefit from a patron in the casino. > > > (3) If a key official ceases to be a key official, he or she must not gamble in a casino during the period of 12 months following the date on which he or she ceased to be a key official. > > Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
