#### 54 Provisional licences 54 Provisional licences > > (1) The NICC may, pending determination of an application for a licence, grant to the applicant a provisional licence. > > > (2) A provisional licence is subject to any conditions or restrictions of which the provisional licensee is notified by the NICC when granting the licence. > > > (3) A provisional licence may be cancelled by the NICC at any time and, unless sooner surrendered or cancelled, ceases to have effect on the determination of the provisional licensee’s application for a licence. > > > (4) This Act applies to a provisional licence in the same way as it applies to a licence (to the extent that is consistent with this section).
