#### 40 Effect of termination 40 Effect of termination > If a contract is terminated in accordance with this Division— > > > (a) the termination does not affect a right acquired, or a liability incurred, before that termination by a person who was a party to the contract, as a result of the performance before that termination of any obligation imposed by the contract, and > > > (b) no liability for breach of contract is incurred by a person who was a party to the contract by reason only of that termination, and > > > (c) neither the Crown nor the NICC incurs any liability by reason of that termination.
