AD/A320/216 for Airbus A320 aircraft — cancelled on 28 March 2016
AD/PA-31/94 Amendment 2 for Piper PA-31 aircraft — cancelled on 15 April 2016

What this means: Aircraft owners, operators, and maintenance engineers are no longer legally required to comply with the specific inspection, repair, or modification requirements contained in these two directives. The Piper PA-31 rule remained in force slightly longer (until mid-April) compared to the Airbus A320 rule (end of March).

This is essentially regulatory housekeeping — removing superseded or unnecessary technical requirements from the aviation maintenance rulebook.

Repeal of Airworthiness Directives

1 Commencement

This instrument commences on 28 March 2016.

2 Repeal

Each Airworthiness Directive (AD) mentioned in Schedule 1 is repealed on the date specified for it in the Schedule.
