Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

A temporary CASA safety direction allowed Jetstar Airways to operate high‑density Airbus A321-200 (up to 230 seats) and A320-200 (up to 186 seats) on passenger services with a relaxed cabin‑crew ratio: one attendant per 50 seats instead of one per 36. It barred changes to emergency procedures (including exit use or able‑bodied passenger roles) without CASA’s written approval, superseded an earlier direction, and expired automatically after a set period.
