Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This CASA safety direction applies only to Network Aviation (ARN 555309) when operating Airbus A320s configured for 180 passengers in charter or scheduled service. It sets a minimum cabin‑attendant ratio of one attendant per 50 seats (four attendants for a 180‑seat A320) and requires 14 days’ written notice to CASA before changing any operations‑manual material that affects emergency procedures.

It matters because it alters the usual staffing rule for this fleet while ensuring CASA oversight of evacuation‑critical changes.
