Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This instrument, signed by the Acting Director of Aviation Safety, authorises the Victoria Police Air Wing helicopters (Aviation Reference No. 053072) to conduct operational winch training. It limits the application of Civil Aviation Order section 29.11—excluding subsection 5—and requires compliance with the remainder of 29.11 and the Police Air Wing Operations Manual as in force on the instrument date.

The authorisation is narrowly targeted, contains no funding or reporting provisions, and fixes the operative manual text to the instrument date.
