11 Conduct of carbon abatement purchasing process

For paragraph 20G(2)(b) of the Act, if the Regulator publishes, on the Regulator’s website, guidelines that deal with the following matters in respect of a carbon abatement purchasing process, the Regulator must have regard to the guidelines in conducting the process: (a) the terms and conditions for participation in the process; (b) the form of a bid or offer in the process; (c) the determination of successful bids or offers; (d) the consequences if a participant engages in conduct that may affect the integrity of the process; (e) the circumstances in which a participant may be disqualified from the process; (f) the circumstances in which a bid or offer, or the process as a whole, may be cancelled.
