53 Emissions avoidance offsets projects
(1) For the purposes of this Act, a project is an emissions avoidance offsets project if it is: (a) an agricultural emissions avoidance project; or (b) a landfill legacy emissions avoidance project; or (c) any other project to avoid emissions of greenhouse gases. (2) Paragraphs (1)(a) and (b) do not limit paragraph (1)(c). (3) For the purposes of this Act, a project is not an emissions avoidance offsets project if the project is a sequestration offsets project.
