21 Defence to cross-claim
Where a cross-claim is filed and served pursuant to Order 5, a cross-respondent must file and serve a defence to the cross‑claim within 21 days after service on the cross‑respondent of the cross-claim or within 7 days after the directions hearing appointed in the application, whichever is the later.
