Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This regulation is a housekeeping measure that simply cancels (repeals) three previous sets of rules about the National Literature Board of Review.

What it does:

Removes Statutory Rules from 1967, 1973, and 1975 that previously governed the National Literature Board of Review
Cleans up the rulebook under the Customs Act 1901 by eliminating outdated regulations

Who it affects: Primarily customs officials and importers of publications who were subject to the old rules. For most people, this removes old regulatory clutter without creating new restrictions.

Why it matters: It streamlines the customs framework by formally removing superseded regulations. This prevents confusion about which rules are currently in force.
