Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This regulation updates the specific amounts of Commonwealth funding provided to New South Wales for schools under the States Grants (Schools) Act. It changes three financial figures listed in the Act's schedule to new values: $3,113,000, $638,000, and $923,000.

Who it affects

New South Wales: The State government, which receives these grants for educational purposes.
Schools in NSW: Ultimately, the beneficiaries of the corrected funding allocations.

Why it matters This is a technical amendment ensuring the legally authorised funding amounts match the intended budget allocations. Without this update, the State could not legally receive the correct grant amounts, potentially disrupting school funding flows.
