Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This regulation updates the rules about who can sign cheques for the Dairy Produce Export Control Board's bank accounts.

What it does:

London accounts: Requires signatures from two specific people—a Board representative in London and the Board's Accountant in London.
Japan accounts: Requires signatures from two specific people—a Board representative in Japan and the Assistant Manager (Administration) of the Board in Japan.
Other accounts: Allows any two people from a list of seven senior Board officials (including the Chairman, General Manager, General Secretary, Finance Officer, and Accountant in Australia) to sign.

Why it matters: This ensures proper financial controls by requiring dual signatures on the Board's bank accounts, with specific arrangements for international operations in London and Japan.
