Commonwealth legislation
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This instrument revises Australian Army pay and allowances, setting new daily rates for officers and soldiers according to rank, years’ service and job classification. It also sets apprentice pay rules and aligns reserve pay with regular forces.
It adjusts marriage, living-out and lodging allowances and includes transitional protections so members moving to the new structure don’t lose pay, affecting serving personnel, trainees and reserve members.
