Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

These regulations remove the position of Executive Member from the Australian Apple and Pear Marketing Board.

The amendments make two administrative changes to the Board's structure:

Regulation 4: Removes the Executive Member from the Board's official membership
Regulation 5c: Limits the Executive Committee to just the Chairman and Deputy Chairman (removing the Executive Member from this smaller decision-making group)

The Board was responsible for acquiring and marketing apples and pears during the war. These changes simply streamline its internal management structure by eliminating one officer position.
