Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This regulation removes a previous export restriction that had been imposed earlier in 1935.

Specifically, it repeals Statutory Rules 1935 No. 103, which had added certain goods or conditions to the list of prohibited exports under the Customs Act. By repealing that earlier rule, this amendment allows the export of whatever was previously banned under No. 103.

Who is affected? Australian exporters who were previously blocked from shipping certain goods overseas.

When does it take effect? 18 November 1935.

Why does it matter? It reduces red tape for exporters by eliminating specific export controls that had been in place for a matter of months.
