Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This short 1907 regulation simply removes (repeals) three specific restrictions on foreign military activities that were created in 1906. The scrapped rules had placed controls on:

Foreign troops and warship crews landing on Australian territory
Searchlights being used aboard foreign warships
Shoreline surveying conducted by boats from foreign ships

Rather than creating new offences or powers, this document strips away the previous 1906 restrictions. It took effect immediately upon being signed by the Governor-General.
