This Act authorises the Treasurer to issue and apply £493,944 from the Consolidated Revenue Fund to the specific departmental items listed in its Schedule, and makes those monies available to satisfy warrants signed by the Governor‑General. An Act to grant and apply out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of Four hundred and ninety-three thousand nine hundred and forty-four pounds to the service of the year ending the thirtieth day of June One thousand nine hundred and two.

Preamble.
BE it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty the Senate and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia for the purpose of appropriating the grant originated in the House of Representatives as follows:—
Issue and application of £493,944.
Sum available for the purposes set forth in Schedule.
The said sum shall be available to satisfy the warrants under the hand of the Governor-General in respect of any purposes and services set forth in the said Schedule.
