9 Act overrides retail shop leases (1) This Act operates despite the provisions of a retail shop lease. (2) A provision of a retail shop lease is void to the extent that the provision is inconsistent with a provision of this Act. (3) A provision of an agreement or arrangement between the parties to a retail shop lease is void to the extent that the provision would be void if it were in the lease.
