96 Contribution for firebreaks
A person served with a notice under section 92(4) who incurs
expenditure in complying with the notice may recover as a debt due
to the person:
(a) if the person is not the owner of the land specified in the
notice – from the owner of that land the amount of that
expenditure; or
(b) if the person is a joint owner of that land – from the other
owners of that land the proportion of that expenditure that the
court considers appropriate.
