85 Prohibition etc. by notice
(1) The executive director may, by public notice, if satisfied that the
prohibition or requirement is necessary for the protection from
bushfire of land within a fire management area, prohibit or require
the doing of an act on the land, and within the period, as specified
in the notice.
(2) A person commits an offence if:
(a) a notice has been issued under subsection (1); and
(b) the person intentionally engages in conduct; and
(c) the conduct results in a contravention of the notice and the
person is reckless in relation to the result.
Maximum penalty: 200 penalty units or imprisonment for
2 years.
(3) Strict liability applies to subsection (2)(a).
