78 Regional bushfire management plan
(1) The executive director may, by written notice:
(a) direct Bushfires NT to prepare within a specified period, in
consultation with the regional committee for a fire
management zone, a draft regional bushfire management plan
for the zone; and
(b) specify matters to be addressed by the plan.
(2) As soon as practicable after preparing a draft regional bushfire
management plan, Bushfires NT must submit it to the regional
committee for endorsement.
(3) On endorsement by the regional committee, the plan has effect as
a regional bushfire management plan for the fire management
zone.
(4) As soon as practicable after endorsing a regional bushfire
management plan, the regional committee must give written notice
of the endorsement to the executive director.

(5) As soon as practicable after being given notice under
subsection (4), the executive director must give public notice of the
plan.
