Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This instrument makes two technical edits to the Shire of Exmouth Bushfire Brigade Local Law 2020: it inserts a cross‑reference into clause 2.10(1)(b) and replaces the abbreviation “CBFCO” with the full title “Chief Bush Fire Control Officer” in clause 5.5(3).

The changes affect Shire bushfire brigade members, officers and the Shire’s administrators by clarifying which subclause applies and removing an abbreviation. The Shire Council adopted the amendment; it takes effect 14 days after Gazette publication and any administrative costs fall to the Shire and brigade administrators.
