192 Declaration of infectious diseases (1) The Chief Health Officer may, by Gazette notice, declare a disease to be an infectious disease for the purposes of this Act. (2) The CEO may, after consulting with the Chief Health Officer, make guidelines in relation to any declared infectious disease for the purposes of burials, disposals or exhumations under this Act. (3) The Agency must publish a guideline issued under subsection (2) on the Agency's website as soon as practicable after the guideline is made.
