19 Minister may change details of cemetery (1) The Minister may, by Gazette notice, change the following: (c) the location of the cemetery. (2) Before the Minister makes a change under subsection (1), the Minister must: (a) have regard to any matters prescribed by regulation relating to changing the details of a cemetery; and

Burial and Cremation Act 2022 15 (b) in the case of a change of responsible entity for a community cemetery, a local cemetery or independent cemetery under subsection (1)(b) – be satisfied there is one of the documents mentioned in section 17(3) for the new responsible entity.
