107 Application to close cemetery (1) The following may, in writing, apply to the Minister to declare a cemetery a closed cemetery: (a) an interest holder of the land on which the cemetery is located; (b) the responsible entity for the cemetery. (2) An application under subsection (1) must include the reason for the cemetery to be declared a closed cemetery. (3) Before making an application under subsection (1), the applicant must take reasonable steps to ensure there are no outstanding exclusive rights of burial in the cemetery.
