56 Refusal to issue certificate of compliance

(1)  If the regulator refuses an application of a cemetery manager in accordance with section 54(4) , the regulator is to notify the cemetery manager in writing of –

(a) the refusal; and

(b) the reasons for that refusal; and

(c) [Section 56 Subsection (1) amended by No. 7 of 2025, s. 46, Applied:01 Jul 2025] the cemetery manager’s right to apply for a review of the decision to refuse the application, in accordance with the Tasmanian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2020 .

(2)  [Section 56 Subsection (2) amended by No. 7 of 2025, s. 46, Applied:01 Jul 2025] A decision of the regulator, under section 54(4) , to refuse an application is a reviewable decision for the purposes of the Tasmanian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2020 .
