sch.1-sec.3 Consent for effective nominations
A nomination under section 2 has no effect unless— the nominee’s written consent is given to the chairperson before, or at, the meeting; or the nominee’s verbal consent is given to the chairperson at the meeting.
- (a) the nominee’s written consent is given to the chairperson before, or at, the meeting; or
- (b) the nominee’s verbal consent is given to the chairperson at the meeting.
