212 Structural design of prescribed temporary structures Prescribed temporary structures must be designed in accordance with engineering principles to provide for their structural safety and the safety of the public and other persons using them. Part 15—Maintenance of buildings and places of public entertainment Division 1—Maintenance of essential safety measures Subdivision 1—General 213 Application of this Division (1) Subject to subregulation (2), this Division applies to— (a) a Class 1b, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 building; and (b) a Class 4 part of a building; and (c) a place of public entertainment. (2) This Division does not apply to a smoke alarm installed in a sole-occupancy unit in a Class 1b or 2 building or a Class 4 part of a building.
