4A Performance solution for plumbing and drainage work (1) Only a certifying engineer (hydraulic) may: (a) design a performance solution for plumbing and drainage work; and

Building Regulations 1993 6 (b) certify plumbing and drainage work carried out under a performance solution. (2) In this regulation: performance solution has the same meaning as in the National Construction Code. plumbing and drainage work means work for, or in connection with, the plumbing and drainage services mentioned in paragraph (b) of the definition of building work in section 4 of the Act.
