#### 47 Powers of authorised officers to enter premises 47 Powers of authorised officers to enter premises > > (1) An authorised officer may enter any premises— > > > > > (a) at any reasonable time, or > > > > > (b) at any time, if the authorised officer reasonably believes it is necessary to do so as a matter of urgency. > > > (2) A power to enter premises conferred by this Act authorises entry by foot or vehicle or by any other means. > > > (3) Entry to any premises may be effected with or without the authority of a search warrant, subject to subsection (4). > > > (4) This section does not empower an authorised officer to enter any part of premises used only for residential purposes except with the permission of the occupier or with the authority of a search warrant.
