Tasmania act
This Act makes technical, time‑staged consequential changes to existing building laws: it updates cross‑references, ties the start of some amendments to the commencement of related Acts, assigns temporary administration to a minister and department, and repeals itself 365 days after all provisions commence. It affects building practitioners (including building services providers and owner‑builders), regulators and agencies. The main costs are administrative and compliance updates by regulators and affected businesses; decision power over short‑term administration rests with the Minister and Department of Justice.
